Salman Khan’s latest film Sikandar released a mixed review, and now according to the latest reports, the film has been removed from the Mumbai Theater due to poor performance. As Free Media Daily reported, Sikandar was removed from the cinema within five days because the audience did not show up.
After Chhaava’s spectacularity, the latest director of AR Murugadoss is expected to keep the momentum at the box office. But Salman’s latest moviegoers, even hard-working fans, aren’t happy with the movie. As a result, multiple films reportedly replaced Mohanlal’s L2E: Empuraan: Empuraan, John Abraham’s The Diplomat and Gujarati Films-Umbarro and the best Pandya with several other films.
The evening and night performances in Sikandar have been reportedly replaced by Umbarro in Inox, Raghuleela Shopping Center in Kandivali. On April 1, Sikandar’s night show at 9:30 pm was cancelled and replaced by the best Pandya. According to these reports, Gujarati films reportedly attracted more viewers, and Sikandar made profits for the drama owners.
The performances at Cinepolis Seawoods and PVR, Orion Mall, 5:30 PM and 9:30 PM have been replaced by Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran’s film L2E, L2E: Empuraan. As Sacnilk reports, Sikandar made Rs 14.9 billion worldwide in terms of box office. However, Sikandar made $16.9 billion worldwide, according to figures released by the manufacturer. With this trend, Sikandar may only survive for another week, as Sunny Deol’s Jaat will be released on April 10.
