U.S.: Border Tsar Tom Homan said on Monday that President Trump’s proposal to reopen the infamous demon prison could help immigration and customs enforcement address the shortage of detention space driven by government deportation. Homan told reporters outside the White House that the reopening demons – closed in 1963 and have been operating in museums ever since – “should be on the table.” He explained: “We need detention beds. We have contracts in many states, many local municipalities. I think it's definitely an option, especially for major public safety threats, national security threats.”
