Top Conservative Party’s Major Criticism of Leeds Truss

Despite the praise at the time, a senior Conservative party carried out a surprising attack on Liz Truss’ mini budget.

Chris Philp aimed at his former boss as he criticized the spending plan to reform Britain.

Philp was the chief secretary of the Ministry of Finance during his 49-day spell as Prime Minister.

Hours after the tax-slam mini-budget, when the pound’s value briefly rose, Phelp tweeted: “It’s great to see the back of the new UK new growth plan strengthening Sterling.”

Shortly thereafter, the pound plummeted amid market turmoil.

Phelp also gave the mini budget “9.5 out of 10”, claiming that this will boost economic growth.

However, he seems to have changed his tune.

In GB News on Sunday, he said: “Nigel Farage is very charming, his slogan is high, but he has no plans.

“He wrote an article in the email yesterday that went through a lot of ideas that were selling for £5 or £60bn and didn’t know how to pay for them. Just like Liz Truss on steroids. Now, that won’t help anyone.”

Host Camilla Tominey then asked him: “What’s the problem with Liz Truss on steroids? Are you criticizing Liz Truss now?

“I just point out that if you are committing to cut taxes or increase spending, you need to have a solid plan,” Phelp replied.

Chris Philp (Conservative MP) is the chief secretary of the finance department for Liz Truss, and many believe the architect who abolished the 45p tax rate, he denies that now says Nigel Farage will be “liz trusts on of on os of on ost of ost ost ost oteloids of ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost ost o pic.twitter.com/hhq3y78e3d
