Tradie is angry at the controversial change in Bunnings: “Serious”

A businessman objected to telling the dog owner to keep the pets at home instead of bringing them to the rabbit.
Queensland House painter Shaun questioned why customers need to bring their four-legged friends with them during their visit.
“Honestly, what is it that people bring dogs to Bunnings Warehouse?” he said in a Tiktok video on Friday.
“Seriously, just keep them at home.”
The video was seen over 200,000 times, and it posted nearly 3,000 comments as social media users expressed their anger.
One person wrote: “I like to watch dogs in rabbits, and should be in more places, probably more than some people.”
‘My dog loves rabbits. Also, never trust anyone who won’t get joy from animals.
“If my dog is allowed somewhere…it’s coming. If they let me allow me, I will take her there (Woolworths).
The businessman was forced to clarify his position in order to deal with the counterattack.
“So many people asked me why I disagree (the dog in the store), or do I hate dogs or something like that?” Sean said.
“Now, I can confirm that I don’t hate dogs. I have someone I love very much.
Sean said he believes the dog should be kept at home for “many reasons.”
“A lot of people say they saw dogs fighting in stores,” he said.
“Or (dogs) do business in a store, then walk away and then an older citizen walks down the aisle, slips on the urination, falls down, breaks something.
“Or, your child has an allergic reaction to your dog after he puts the dog on the trolley and they don’t realize it. The list is still ongoing.
Shaun then corrected himself, saying only one dog was allowed to enter the rabbit.

“I think the only dog there should be there is a guide dog,” he said.
Many social media users are still unhappy.
One person wrote: “Parent, my dog is a working dog and walks everywhere during the weekdays.”
“If I put him in the sun, I will send RSPCA to me.

Another said they respect the painter’s point of view but would take their dog “whether he is allowed to go.”
“Let’s look at the real problem, irresponsible and disrespectful people who allow their uncontrolled dogs to cause problems,” she said.
Social media users who claim to work at Bunnings say he likes people who bring dogs in.

Many dogs agree to be nuisances inside the store, although others say this makes their trip to the store brighter
“As someone who has worked in the above business for many years, the dog-carrying person is the only good thing,” he said.
“People’s children are more chaotic than dogs and cause more harm.”
But others say they agree with Sean and say they have suffered allergies themselves or have seen trained dogs cause trouble.
One person said, “While I like to bring my dog to rabbits, I also agree that not all dogs should be allowed in rabbits.”
“I saw a dog barking at everyone, it was walking around and the owner didn’t stop it.”
Oh, I agree 100% on it. I don’t think I need to bring them in unless it’s a service dog. ” another woman added.
One third said, “I don’t like dogs in the store.”
“Not annoying to anyone, but what about people with allergies? I avoided the aisle because of the dog,’ another added.
“My husband walks between me and the dog.”
Bunnings Managing Director Mike Schneider has previously said that if friendly, dogs can be allowed to enter the store and comply with the conditions of entry.
“Customers have been bringing their dogs to our stores for years and we often hear them enjoying their pets’ company while shopping with us,” he said.
Mr Schneider said that if the dog is friendly and complies with the conditions for entry, the dog can be allowed to enter the store.
The store relies on the customer’s “common sense” approach.
“If customers have concerns that they have experience with our store, we encourage them to seek help from one of our team members,” Schneider said.
