Hyderabad: Police issued a traffic consultation that prohibits general traffic from Tank Bund Road at 3 p.m. and 10 p.m. Sunday to visit Miss World contestants to participate in Secretariat and Carnival events. Police said heavy traffic is expected to be expected at several key junctions such as Ambedka Statue, Secretariat, VV Statue and Freedom.
Police asked commuters to plan their trips accordingly and follow the latest news about Hyderabad Traffic Police’s social media handles. The police also set up a helpline on 9010203626.
Traffic from the junction of the Secretariat to Tank Bund Road will turn to freedom. Behicles from Liberty to Tank Bund Road will be diverted to the Telugu Talli Overpass. On the Secunderabad side, Karbala Maidan’s traffic will be transferred to Kavadiguda at the sailing club, while the vehicles will be turned from the DBR Mills to Goshala and Kavadiguda.
The public can park their vehicles in designated areas including the NTR Stadium, from Old Ambedka to Lepakshi (on one side), sailing club to children’s park (on one side), and Buddha Bhavan to PV MARG (on one side).
