Traffic, students missed JEE exam

Visakhapatnam: About 30 students from Pendurthi AI Digital missed their JEE Advanced Exam in Visakhapatnam, allegedly due to the convoy of Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan through the area.

Students said they will start at 9 a.m. just minutes after the test deadline deadline deadline.

Anil, a parent whose daughter, Neetu, has been denied the exam, said: “We were only two minutes late because the convoy stopped all traffic due to the convoy.”

Parents have written a letter asking Chief Minister Nara Chandra Babu Naidu, Education Minister Nara Lokesh and Deputy CM Deputy Prime Minister to resolve the issue.

However, Visakhapatnam City police refuted the claim that the statement caused delays. According to a statement issued by the police, the convoy passed the area at 8:41 AM after the closure time at 8:30 AM.

Police stressed that candidates must report by 7:00 a.m. as directed on their admission card. They insist that before 8:30 a.m., traffic was not blocked on the BRT or service roads to ensure smooth access to the exam center.
