Train lowered nine cows in Malampuzha

Nine cows were killed after three trains near Malampuzha in the area were hit on Saturday. Railway officials suspected Himsagar Express, Kochuveli-Yashwantpur Express and Chennai-thiruvananthapuram mail were involved in the cowboy attack.

After the railway complaint, police began to look for the owner of the cow. Police said the owner will be booked.

In a similar incident, 13 cows were killed last month near the Meincala Dam. Railway officials raised concerns about the increasing incidence of cattle hits on the track.
