Southern Central Railway has expanded its special fare especially premium Tatkar train service to Kacheguda-Madurai-Kacheguda (07191/92) until the week of May.
According to official sources, the Central and Southern Railway will conduct this week’s special fare special PT service through the Southern Railway main line from April 2024.
This weekly service, leaving Kacheguda every Monday at 8.30pm, will arrive in Madurai at 1.20am on Wednesday. It left Madurai at 10.40am on the same day (Wednesday) and arrived at Kacheguda at 1.25pm ​​on the next day (Thursday) at 1.25pm ​​on the next day (Wednesday).
The service will travel between Villupuram and Tiruchi on Tuesday and between Tiruchi and Tiruchi and Villupuram between Wednesday and the first week of May.
It left Villupuram at 4.15 pm on Tuesday and stopped at Cuddalore Port Junction, Chidambaram, Sirkazhi, Mayiladutthurai Junction, Kumbakonam and Thanjavur Junction before reaching Tiruchi at 9.40 pm
In the direction of the return journey, it will leave Tiruchi by 1.25 pm on Wednesday and arrive at Villupuram at 7.45 pm on the same day before heading to the destination via Tiruvannamalai and Katpadi.
