Travel Group and Gruhas launch Rs 20 billion Earth Fund

City-based real estate developer Brigade Group has teamed up with Gruhas, an investment company co-founded by Nikhil Kamath and Abhijeet Pai, to launch a Rs 20 billion Earth Fund with a focus on real estate technology and sustainability.

Established under the Zoiros project and was floated by Brigade Group in partnership with SEBI Registered Class II Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) and offers an additional Rs 100 crore green shoe option designed to support high-growth startups to solve challenges in the construction world through sustainability and innovation.

The Earth Fund will invest in technology venture capital across the country, including first-tier and second-tier cities. It will focus on A and A series of technology startups in the real estate, construction and sustainability sectors. Ticket size will range from $1 million to $2 million, and the fund will consider starting investments from 10 to 15 startups.

At the media conference, Nirupa Shankar, co-managing director of Travel Enterprises Co., Ltd., said: “The uniqueness of the Earth Fund is its focus on Urbantech and sustainability solutions, and by leveraging the resources and expertise of the Travel Group and Gruhas, our goal is to identify and support the value of long-term development and driving Uban development and driving Uban.
