Tribal activists in Gujarat express concern about BJP MLA’s “missionary bid”

Tribal activists in southern Gujarat province are increasingly paying attention to the rampant missionaries in the region. In Vyara, local allegations against BJP MLA Mohan Konkani have been actively encouraged. Arvind Vasava of Dev Birsa Sena claims there are about 1,500 illegal churches throughout the region that are not registered with the state government and are religiousizing tribal civilians.

“The local MLA Mohan Konkani is actively encouraging these activities,” Vasava said. Et added that a hill in the Songde neighborhood, Gid Madi Dungar, has long been a sacred sacred temple for an animist tribes and is now the boundary of the Aboriginal people. Videos of Konkani’s speech spread a religious gathering on social media, and he asked attendees to attract more people.

“A concrete road appears with a church on the hill of Mother Mary’s, and we no longer allow us to visit our shrine and offer sacrifices anymore,” Vasava said.
Vasava and his costume have been holding protests against the conversion and seeking to protect the tribal identity of the region.

When contacted, Concarney refused to talk about the issue over the phone. Earlier, he denied Morari Bapu’s allegations. BJP Media Cell Coordinator Yagnesh Dave declined to comment.

VHP joint secretary Sharm Prasad Vibhag, Dharmendra Bhavani said: “After giving them tickets to the congress elections, the BJP should put candidates like Konkani on the belt.”
