A five-year-old girl died after two cars crashed at an intersection near Toowoomba.
The child was a Golden Subaru Outback passenger, smashed in the blue Ford Rangers on Drayton Connection Road and Luck Road at the early hours of 11.40 a.m. Saturday.
Emergency services drove her to Toowoomba Base Hospital at the time, but she later succumbed to her injuries.
The 64-year-old Subaru wheel and the second child occupant were also taken to the hospital.
The 19-year-old man drove a Ford for precautions.
His two 18-year-old passengers were not injured.
Police are investigating the accident.
