Bhubaneshwar: The craze of social media reels turned deadly in the Sundargarh district of Odisha when a truck driver in Uttar Pradesh fell off the bridge while a video was allegedly filmed on the bridge.
The victim, Suresh Kumar from the Chapki Police Department of Uttar Pradesh, drove 18 rounds from Rourkela on Saturday morning. He parked his truck near a bridge on National Highway 520 under the jurisdiction of the K. Balang Police Department in Koida Block.
Suresh reportedly climbed onto the bridge railing, slipped and fell. The incident was revealed later in the afternoon, and locals noticed a man suffered serious injuries under the bridge. They warned the K. Balang police who went to the scene. Suresh was later pronounced dead at the scene.
