TrueCaller enables AI-driven message IDS function to remind users of information about important messages

TrueCaller has launched a new AI-driven filter that can be scanned through the inbox and pick out important messages called message IDs. The company is rolling out the feature in India and 30 other countries and can read information in Hindi, Spanish, Swahili and more.

“From bank alerts and OTP to delivery updates, flight trips and payment reminders, Message IDS captures signals in the noise. They summarize key details, highlight what matters, and help you take action quickly,” TrueCaller’s press release said.

This feature helps users not miss important text in spam. The company said the scan was done in the device, which ensures that user data remains private.

Users only need to enable two options – read SMS and display it through other applications to get alerts for important text.

TrueCaller also adds a green message ID as an additional layer of trust for users, which shows validation of the business to prove its legitimacy.
