Prior to the parliamentary elections in Bihar, the Congress launched the “Mahila Ki Baat, ke Saath” on Friday (18 April 2025), which included the needs, wishes and expectations of women in the election manifesto.

The news was presented by Alka Lamba, Chairman of the All India Congress Committee, at Alka Lamba, Patna Chairman of Sadaquat Ashram, Bihar Parliament Headquarters.

Ms. Lamba said that throughout the campaign, the Mahira Congress coordinator will communicate directly with women from the neighborhood to the district level and write down what they want to include it in the election manifesto.

The development comes the second day after the Indian Group announced that Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and former deputy chief minister Tejashwi Yadav will lead the Indian Group Group, which will be responsible for all activities, including all events including seat sharing, campaigning and election manifesto.

Ms Lamba said: “We would not let the declaration sit in the enclosed air-conditioned rooms and offices, such as the leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), but we go to the villages and streets, establish direct communication and prepare for the election declaration.”

She asserted that by developing plans for open dialogue, group dialogue and recommendations (personal/digital), women’s questions raised in terms of inflation, income, medicine, education and security will be included in the election manifesto.

Accompanied by Bihar Parliament Director Rajesh Kumar and Bihar Parliamentary Council Legislative Party (CLP) leader Shakeel Ahmed Khan, she said Mahira Parliament will conduct a two-day training camp in Patna starting on Friday, after which the trained workers will be sent to the area.

Asha workers, Jeevika, Aganwadi, self-service groups and women responsible for cooking lunch will be the focus of Mahila Congress.

The plan will last for a month and a half until the end of May. During this time, the Mahira Congress also promoted campaigns on social media through various hashtags.

“Parliament President Mallikarjun Kharge will come to Bihar on April 20, and Rahul Gandhi Ji has visited Bihar. We will not leave this government, which cannot provide work, medicine, education and security. The ban is the whole failure of the country and women are upset about the failed alcohol ban,” Lamba Ms. Lamba said.
