Trump provides 'help' to stop tensions escalating between India and Pakistan | World News

Tensions in Pakistan have intensified in Pakistan following the Indian air strikes in Pakistan, which occupied Kashmir, and U.S. President Donald Trump expressed concern and said “he will be there” to help and hope that the conflict between the two countries will escalate.

“It's so scary. My position is that I'm getting along well. I know very well and I want to see them settle. I want to see them stop and hope they can stop now. They've gone to tat, so hope they can stop now. I know both of them, we're getting along well with both countries,” Trump said.

“I have a good relationship with both and I want to see it stop,” Trump said in his answer to the 'war' question between India and Pakistan.

India launched Operation Sindor earlier on Wednesday, attacking nine terrorist targets in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POK) and Pakistan in retaliation for the April 22 terrorist attacks in Jamu and Pahalgam terrorist attacks in Kashmir, killing 26 people.

Earlier on Wednesday, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said he was closely monitoring the situation between India and Pakistan after Indian missiles went on strike on multiple terrorist grounds in Pakistan.

“I am closely monitoring the situation between India and Pakistan. I responded to President Trump's comment earlier today that I hope this will end soon and will continue to make leadership and peace solutions for India and Pakistan.”

Earlier on Wednesday, Trump responded to India's Sindor Operation Tuesday, saying he hopes the hostilities between India and Pakistan will end “soon.”

“It's a pity,” he said, and we heard about it, just like we were on the door of the oval door (office). I think people know that something will happen based on a little bit of the past. ”

“They have been fighting for a long time. Actually, if you really think about it, they've actually been fighting for decades and centuries,” Trump said.

When asked if he had any information about these countries, he said: “No, I just hope it ends soon.”
