Trump, Putin, Meloni and other world leaders condemn Pahargam terrorist attacks

U.S. President Donald Trump, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni are among the world leaders who condemned Jamu’s terrorist attacks, Kashmir killed 26 people, expressing a statement with India.

“The profound and disturbing news in Kashmir has strong opposition to India compared to India’s opposition to terrorism,” Trump said in a post about the Truth Society.

“We pray for the souls of the lost and for the healing of the injured. He added.

In exchanges with President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Modi, Putin expressed condolences to Pahalgam’s terrorist attacks and said there was no reason for “cruel crime” and that its perpetrators would face the punishment they deserve.

He expressed his sincere condolences to the tragic consequences of the terrorist attack in Pahargam, whose victims are civilians – citizens of various countries”.

Mr. Putin reiterated Russia’s commitment to further fight terrorism with Indian partners in all forms and manifestations.

He added: “Please convey sincere words of sympathy and support to the close relatives and relatives of the deceased and hope to quickly recover all injured people.”

Terrorists opened fire in a famous meadow and Kashmir near the town of Pahargam in Chamu, killing 26 people, mainly tourists, the deadliest attack since the 2019 Pulwama strike.

The attack was claimed by the Resistance Front (TRF), a representative of Pakistan’s Lashkar-e-Taiba (Let) terrorist group.

“Deeply sad”

Ms Meloni said she felt “deeply sad” about the terrorist attacks in Pahargam and expressed solidarity with the injured families, the injured, the government and the people of India as a whole.

The attack occurred on the first visit of US Vice President JD Vance to India.

Mr. Vance expressed his condolences to the victims of the devastating terrorist attack.

“I and I express my condolences to the victims of the devastating terrorist attack in Pahargam, India. We have been overcoming us in the beauty of this country and its people over the past few days. Our thoughts and prayers are with them mourning this terrible attack,” he posted on X. ”

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar said in an article on X that his country felt “deeply sad” about the terrorist attacks by tourists from Jamu and Kashmir.

“It’s very saddened to be the outrageous terrorist attacks by tourists from #Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Our thoughts are with the victims and their families. Israel and India are in the fight against terrorism,” he said.

The UAE’s Foreign Ministry strongly condemned the terrorist attack in a statement.

It confirmed that the UAE “expressed a strong condemnation of these criminal acts and a permanent refusal to all forms of violence and terrorism aimed at undermining the security and stability of international law”.

The ministry expressed sincere condolences and sympathy to the Indian government and people, the families of the victims of this outrageous attack, and the desire for a quick recovery for all injured people.
