Trump says China “rebelled” against the Boeing agreement as tensions break out

Trump’s social media comments are reports of Bloomberg News’ reports about the shutdown. The report also said Beijing asked Chinese carriers to suspend the purchase of aircraft-related equipment and parts from U.S. companies.
“It’s interesting that they’re just breaching the Big Boeing agreement and saying they won’t assume a commitment to fully committing to the plane,” Trump said in a truth-clarifying social position.
But he did not provide any further details about the Boeing agreement he referred to.
Although Trump has expressed new tariffs on friends and enemies since returning to the presidency this year, he has retained his worst blow to China – a 145% increase in taxes on many Chinese imports.

The Chinese Foreign Ministry did not immediately respond to AFP inquiries about aircraft delivery, and Boeing declined to comment on the Bloomberg report.
Boeing shares fell 1.5% Tuesday morning.
