Trump trash at the Kennedy Center during dinner with new board members: “This is the last time I went to see the work without looking at it’

President Donald Trump broke the Kennedy Center in Washington at a White House dinner Monday night with his board members.

The president claimed that the Performing Arts Center was in a tragic state of disrepair and was then shocked by some of the previous “dei” shows.

In early February, Trump fired the Kennedy Center’s board of directors and appointed his own chairman, choosing his former acting director of the National Intelligence Corporation Richard Grenell as the executive director of the Kennedy Center.

Speaking at a state restaurant Monday night, Trump admitted that when he brought the Kennedy Center to his authority, “I haven’t been there.”

The president cracked. This is my last time looking for a job. ”

The particularly angry Trump is not the original structure-built between 1966 and 1971 and opened that year-but the Arts Center’s new backyard joins the coverage.

“I always thought they should have built a beautiful performance center above the Potomac, open air. They didn’t do that. They built these crazy rooms below. They built three small stages. Trump said.

“One day someone might take it.”

Trump said he was very confused when he first looked at one of the entrances to the modernization of the Kennedy Center.

“They are underground,” he explained. “In fact, when I look from a distance, you know, you see these hubs, concrete hubs, and I think it’s modern art. Here we’re with modern art, blocking everyone’s point of view.”

He continued: “When I actually went there, I said, no, that’s not modern art, it was a door, so you went to these rooms.”

The president complained: “So I don’t have what they are doing now, but they spend a lot of money and they can’t spend a lot of money in that bad situation.”

He is going to “turn it around.”

“I like turning things around,” Trump said. “I’m doing it with the country, believe me, we’re doing it.”

The president also complains that the Kennedy Center has programming that includes LGBTQ.

The upcoming World Pride celebration at the Kennedy Center has been abandoned.

“In addition, the show has been out of control, political propaganda, dee and inappropriate programs rampant,” Trump said. “I think we have some very inappropriate programs to say well.”

“They held a dance party to quote “queer and trans youth.” I think for some people, this is true, I’m just quoting, I’m not saying “queer and trans youth”. Trump insisted.

“They have Marxist anti-police performances, they only have lesbian Shakespeare, never-who thought of these ideas? Trump asked. “It’s different.”

He added: “We brought our country back so quickly.”

Ahead of Monday night’s dinner, the Kennedy Center announced that its upcoming lineup will include Chicago, Moulin Rouge and Back to the Future: Musical.

Trump suggests adding the Phantom of the Opera to the lineup.

“So we are signing the Phantom of the Opera. We are signing many Big Broadways. We’ll let them run for a while. ” he said.

“I think you’re going to do it well, but it’s very overlooked, it needs to inject something different, maybe money,” he continued. “But I think we’re going to do it well when you get some money from Congress to fix it.”
