Trying to connect the man hit by Maoism to the mainstream of the final stages of Chhattisgarh: Mulm

President Droupadi Murmu said on Monday (March 24, 2025) that the work of connecting people affected by left-wing extremism to the final stage of Chhattisgarh and expressed confidence in the state’s power of quickly getting rid of Maoism.

Ms. Ms. Mulmu, speaking of the Legislative Assembly of Chhattisgarh as part of its Jubilee Year celebrations, said that the House set the highest standards of democratic traditions and demonstrated a unique example of the best parliamentary behavior.

She also thanked the 90-member state legislature for having 19 female members, and there were more female voters in the 2023 state election than men.

Ms Mulm said: “All judicial facilitators should work to increase the number of female members in the next parliament.”

“The task of bringing left-wing extremism to the mainstream of society has reached a final and decisive stage. I was told that people from the Naxar-influenced people in Chhattisgarh want to move onto the path of development,” she said.

She added: “I am confident that you (the country) will soon succeed in working hard to get Chhattisgarh out of extremism and add a golden chapter to the history of the country.”

There are 19 ladies in the house. In the 2023 parliamentary elections, there are more female voters than men. Ms Mulm said that the house was therefore especially supported by the mother, sister and daughter of Chhattisgarh.

“I ask the Women MLA to always be prepared to promote all the sisters who work in every field of life. When all women work in various fields of the state, the man will also pay attention, whether she is a teacher, an official, a social worker or an entrepreneur, a worker or an entrepreneur, a scientist, a worker, a worker, a worker, a worker or a farmer, that road paves the way,” she said. ”

She added: “Our sisters work hard while fulfilling their daily family responsibilities and have a place outside. When all the sisters empower each other, our society will become more and more sensitive. In this house, all MLAs, especially female members, should try to increase the number of women in the next rally.”

Ms. Mulmu also expressed happiness that the marshal was never used in the House of Representatives during the 25 years of the Parliament of Chhattisgarh (since the founding of the State in 2000).

Governor Ramen Deka and Parliament Speaker Raman Singh also addressed the Justice Assistance (MLAS).

Earlier, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and opposition leader Charan Das Mahant welcomed President Murmu into the House and expressed her gratitude to her.
