TTD head refuted allegations of cattle death, calling it political motivation

tirupati: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) chairman Br Naidu strongly dismissed former TTD chairman Bhumana Karunakar Reddy’s allegation of the death of 100 cows by TTD Gossala, as they dismissed their politically motivated attempts to attempt an institutional image.
Naidu talked to the media after checking out Goshala of Tirupati, who claimed that the cattle were caring for with the greatest dedication and regularly provided feed and proper veterinary support.
Naidu accused Karunakar Reddy of misleading the public by distributing old photos of cattle deaths in previous years and portraying them as the recent ones. He claimed the images were chaired during Reddy’s tenure and manipulated by changing dates to create false narratives. He introduced the images and the corresponding dates of the media, noting that they exposed the misleading movement.
Naidu cited a vigilance report from the previous administration, saying that expired drugs and feed for pests were distributed to cattle under Karunakar Reddy. He showed the report and related photos, evidence of violations committed during the former board term and asserted that the current government had no negligence in cattle care.
Naidu condemned repeated efforts to include TTD in political controversy and warned that false allegations of divine religious institutions would be intolerable. “If there are any personal allegations against me, they should be raised directly. Why target the institution?” he asked. “Does Baumana dare to make similar misinformation on other institutions of faith?”
He questioned Karunakar Reddy’s dedication and pointed out that the true fear of God will not indulge in the daily falsehood. Naidu also revealed that after he was in charge, he reviewed past engineering work and found serious violations, with contractors claiming they had to pay a commission. He claimed Karunakar Reddy was notorious for “the chairman of the committee.”
Naidu reiterated his commitment to transparency, asserting that he has maintained a corruption-free government since his tenure and vowed to protect the sanctity of the TTD to prevent any form of malicious propaganda.
