Turkish student Rumeysa Ozturk grabbed ice beams and screamed from the ice, from ear to ear, the judge ordered her release

A Turkish student was screaming in the street by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and smiled after being detained.

Rumeysa Ozturk, 30, a Tufts University student, was driven away by ice agents on the streets of Boston, Massachusetts on March 25 because her visa was unknowingly revoked.

She was taken to New Hampshire and Vermont, and was eventually taken to the detention center in Brazil, Louisiana, which was criticized for its alleged poor condition and abuse of female prisoners.

She was released Friday and was seen standing out from the locked facility, wearing a soft pink shirt and a white turban.

When she went to talk to the reporter, she could see the graduate student’s ear-to-ear.
