So far, many Bollywood’s big budget movies have performed poorly at the box office. Even popular actors cannot draw the audience’s attention to the theater.
Recently, Bollywood director Shoojit Sircar conveyed his belief that Hindi cinemas might go wrong.
Sircar emphasizes the lack of adventure in the art of storytelling.
Explained in a conversation with Ani Sircar, “There are two very important reasons. First, I’m going to say that the filmmakers and producers, as creative people, have no adventure. When telling a story, you can’t just repeat some old stories. You have to take risks somewhere. You need to bring new, insightful themes, no matter what, no matter what.”
He further focused on the actor fees in Bollywood (Bollywood) and said some famous actors need to be reconsidered or lost their chances.
“I won’t say much about people’s entourage or what they charge, but one thing I’m sure of: popular actors will have to lower the fees. If they don’t, directors will stop approaching them.”
Sircar also mentioned his production company, Rising Sun Movies, highlighting the importance of managing expenses by working with actors who appreciate budget constraints. He added: “But we are not. For all the movies we make, we never let the cost be too high. That’s why we complain less. We’ve worked with the cast and they know they’re making the rising sun movie with Shoojit Sircar and it won’t cost too much.”
