In Khusiram, a man detained in Sonipat, members of Maruti Suzuki’s struggle committee accused police of “oppression” and alleged that workers were not allowed to inform the district administration in advance. “We submitted an application to the district magistrate Kharkhoda, seeking permission to protest. But there was no reply. When we gathered in the positioning of Parshuram Park within the scheduled range today (Sunday), the police detained some of us.
