Two members of TGERC take the oath

Hyderabad

Two new members of the Telangana Power Regulatory Commission (TGERC) – Kancharla Raghu (Technology) and C. Srinivasa Rao (Financial) – were sworn in by the Chairman of the Devaraju Nagarjun Committee to give the group full strength.

During the oath ceremony, Chief Secretary (Energy and Finance) Sandeep Kumar Sultania read out the order. TGSPDCLMD. Chairman and Managing Director of Musharraf Faruqui, CMD of TG-Transco D. Krishna Bhaskar, CMD of Singapore Collieries Company Company Ltd N. Balaram and several other electric companies and energy sector officials participated in the event.

Mr. Raghu started as an assistant engineer with TG-Transco and has extensive experience in the energy field. He holds a master’s degree in structural engineering and plays a crucial role in planning and implementing several high-tension sub-stations and transmission projects, developing Min-Hydel power plants, and implementing regulatory and policy matters. He also wrote a training manual.

Mr. Srinivasa Rao is a batch officer at the Indian Railway Account Service (IRAS) in 1992 and is a graduate of engineering as well as management. In his 30-plus years of experience, he includes 15 years of service in the energy sector to handle portfolios of finance, accounts, business operations, regulatory affairs, human resources management, IT, project finance and working capital management.
