Two men from the Forest Ministry of Tamil Nadu were arrested by the Forest Ministry of Tamil Nadu on Sunday, they were arrested near Muthorai Palada in Udhagamandalam.
The two defendants were identified as A. Aneesh Mon of Nilambur, Kerala, 43 and M. Nisaar, 45. Forest officials said the two men were found in a registered pickup truck in Kerala near Muthorai Palada. Officials found that Gao Long's body was believed to be about 10 years old and informed the Forest and Police Department to stop and search for registered vehicles in Kerala, similar to those found in the area. The vehicle was found and chased after it before arresting the suspect near Naduvattam. The two men allegedly tried to flee back to Kerala when they were arrested.
S. Gowtham told the Division Forest Officer (Nilgiris) Hindu Officials have not recovered guns used to hunt tall dragons. He said tools and slaughtering equipment, which could have been used to slaughter animals, as well as vehicles for men traveling.
It is reported that the defendant had a large number of rotten carrots, ostensibly to cover up Gao Long's body.
