Two people died on the spot when an unidentified vehicle hit them near the village of Anasagaram in the NTR district on Friday.
The deceased were identified as natives of Jaggaiahpet Mandal, P. Bhaskar Rao (49) and R. Venkateswarlu (46).
Villagers said the accident happened when the victim walked to the Gunadala Mary Matha church on Good Friday.
Nandigama police registered a case.
