Two people, including a woman and three livestock, died in different lightning incidents in Laiche district on Friday.
They were identified as Hanumanth Yadav, 45, of Marchatahal village and Mallamma, 50, of Udamgal-Khanapur village in Raichur taluk.
The case has been registered with the Yaragora Police Department.
A cow and two buffaloes also died in the village of Mathur, which is within the limits of the Mathur police station.
Two drowning
Two devotees from Devanahalli, a rural area of ​​Bangalore, were submerged in Tungabhadra on Thursday near the village of Ele Bichali in Raichur Taluk.
The deceased were identified as Madan and Muthuraj.
The victim brought Darshan in Sri Raghavendra Swamy to the village of Ele Bichali in Mantralayam in Kurnur district of Andhra Pradesh.
Sources said the incident happened when they ventured into the river to swim and fell into a whirlpool.
