Chief Commissioners L. Rajasekhar Reddy and G. Aparna Rao both belonged to the Indian Taxation Bureau in 1989 and were appointed by the Ministry of Finance in the reorganization of senior officials.
Aparna Rao is from Andhra, coastal and is currently serving as Chief Commissioner of Bengaluru.
Rajasekhar Reddy is currently the Chief Commissioner of TDS, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry and is the first CBDT member of Telangana. Rajasekhar Reddy paid tribute from Nirmal, graduated legally and cracked the civil servants in his first attempt and joined the IRS.
In addition to serving in the Ministry of Civil Aviation for five years, Reddy also worked for the Competition Commission of India (CCI). “This is a satisfying mission for CCI,” Reddy told Deccan Chronicle. He led an investigation into cement cartels that were arbitrarily raising prices and imposing serious fines. Similarly, CCI punished global tech giant Google for the first time after an investigation team led by Rajasekhar Reddy established its abuse of dominance.
