U.S. urges India, Pakistan seeks “responsible solutions” amid rising tensions | Indian News

The United States has said that as the news agency escalated in the wake of the deadly armed attack in Kashmir, urging the two neighboring countries to work to achieve a “responsible solution” and urged the two countries to remain in touch with India and Pakistan.
The U.S. State Department highlighted Washington’s ongoing interaction with both sides amid turbulent circumstances.
“We are in touch with our Indian and Pakistani counterparts and urge them to work towards a responsible solution to the current tensions,” the statement said.
After the April 22 attack, the United States has publicly expressed its support for India, which killed more than 20 people in Kashmir managed by India, but it did not directly criticize Pakistan. India accused Pakistan of attacking the attack, accusing Islamabad of strongly denying it, but instead called for an independent and neutral investigation.
This remains tense as international stakeholders pay close attention, urging restraint and dialogue to prevent further escalation among nuclear-weapon neighbors.
