UAE, US President holds talks in Abu Dhabi to promote partnership | World News

The United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan held talks with visiting U.S. President Donald Trump at the presidential palace in Abu Dhabi, reaffirming the commitment of the two countries to deepen their strategic partnership, media reported.
According to the UAE’s national news agency WAM, the two leaders discussed ways to strengthen cooperation among various sectors, including investment, energy, advanced technologies, artificial intelligence and the industry.
Xinhua News Agency reported that Sheikh Mohamed emphasized the depth of UAE relations, which he said was more than fifty years away.
He reaffirmed the UAE’s dedication to global peace, stability and prosperity through multilateral cooperation and close coordination with international partners, especially the United States.
The two sides also exchanged views on regional and international developments of mutual concern, with particular attention to maintaining security in the Middle East and reducing tensions.
Trump praised Sheikh Mohamed’s leadership and noted that under his guidance, bilateral relations continue to become stronger.
Also on Thursday, the two presidents jointly announced an AI campus in Abu Dhabi, the largest AI campus outside the United States.
Sheikh Mohamed highlighted the UAE’s commitment to deepening cooperation with the United States, given their long-standing efforts to promote peace, stability and prosperity in the Middle East and around the world. He pointed out that this is in line with the UAE’s firm support for global stability, peace and development through multilateral international cooperation.
During the meeting, both leaders identified their common goals to further strengthen the UAE’s strategic partnership.
Sheikh Mohamed also stressed that the UAE has remained a reliable partner of the United States in addressing common challenges for many years.
UAE President Sheikh Mohamed said he was determined to continue to strengthen this friendship to enable the interests of all countries and their peoples to work together, while working together to support regional and global peace and stability.
Sheikh Mohamed noted that the future-focused partnership between the UAE and us is supported by President Trump, especially in the new economy, advanced technology and artificial intelligence.
The U.S. President praised Sheikh Mohamed’s leadership, confirming that the UAE-US relations have reached new heights and continue to become stronger.
In honor of the state visit, Sheikh Mohamed hosted a dinner party to honor President Trump and his delegation.
President Trump also signed the guestbook at Qasr al Watan, and he is happy to visit the UAE and meet with Sheikh Mohamed. He affirmed the durability and strategic nature of the U.S.-US relations, and the efforts of the two countries to support the bond of common development, hoping that the UAE and its people will continue to progress and prosper.
