UAVs are prohibited within RGIA radius

Hyderabad: Seiberbad police banned the flight of drones in the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Shamshabad on Saturday with a radius of more than 10 kilometers. The order will come into effect from May 10 to June 9, 2025.
Cyberabad Police Chief Avinash Mohanty sent a notice on Saturday regarding this effect, empowering him under Article 163 of the BNSS to prevent danger or harm to a person and to ensure the safety and security of all relevant parties.
In the notice, police said that in an area of 10 kilometers radius from the RGIA, the flight activities of remotely controlled drones of any capacity, paratype or remotely controlled low-light aircraft will not be allowed.
Police said anyone who violates the order should be punished under relevant chapters.
