Kakinada: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has asked his MLA to ensure cleanliness of their respective constituencies by October 2nd Gandhi Jayanthi Day.

“You will meet the Chief Minister in 1995. I will visit your constituency starting October 2 to check if they are clean and green. You’d better be on your toes and make sure they are clean at that time. Otherwise, you’ll feel my “heat wave”.

The Chief Minister pointed out that he had cleaned the roads in the town of Kakinada. He stressed that he was keen to ensure that every constituency was developed in every district. The MLA will have to take this responsibility and he will support them there.

“The former (YSRC) regime destroyed the country. Now, we are working to get the state back on track. When I start traveling after October 2, the MLA will visit their constituency only three hours in advance. When I check the developments in your constituency, be prepared to catch up with me,” Chandrababu Naidu declared.

He noted that the government was inefficient during the YSRC rules, allowing the state to accumulate 8.5 million tons of waste. They have taken out 5.1 million tons of garbage.

“By October 2, we all have to make sure we are removed from the roads,” he said. In this regard, he said 4.6 million toilets have been sanctioned after the NDA coalition restored its power. 72,000 toilets have begun to be built. In the next few days, community toilets will be built in the city, town and Mandal headquarters.

The Chief Minister reiterated that it would be necessary to make AP Swarnandhra and Swachch Andhra Pradesh, in addition to two 22 MW plants in Rajamahendravaram and Nellore, build two 30 MW waste-to-energy plants at a price of Rs 7,000 crore.

Naidu said he had entered politics and entered the conference on March 15, 1978. “For 45 years, no other leader has been respected by me,” he insisted.
