Uncertainty is vaguely visible among the staff employed by outsourcing I&PR

Warangal: Up to 130 outsourcing employees of the Information and Public Relations Department (I&PR) who were removed from the service 11 months ago have called for a return to its original state.

The fired employees said they were appointed under government order rt.1197 and had undergone written examinations and interviews. They said that during his tenure as a BRS government, he was appointed with permission from the finance department.

They were appointed Assistant Public Relations Officer (APROS) with a salary of Rs 36,750, Advocacy Assistant (photographers and photographers) with a salary of Rs 27,130 and office subordinates with a salary of Rs 15,700.

They said senior I&PR department officials cited the breach in their appointments to remove it from the service with verbal instructions. They said they had filed a case with officials but received no relief.

An outsourcing employee told Deccan Chronicle Since the appointment of the former BRS government, the current government has shown no interest in continuing its services. He questioned the fairness of the process.

Another employee said that as their lives were interrupted, they faced many problems in finding their families.

He urged: “As the government has adopted several welfare schemes, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and I&PR Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy must understand the problems of unemployed young people and to serve justice by restoring services.”
