The Legislative Assembly passed the Andhra Pradesh State Teachers and submitted the Regulations Act of 2025 on Wednesday (19 March 2025). It was proposed by state IT&HRD minister Nara Lokesh, who called the bill a historic move.
The bill provides that web-based level II principals and teachers who prescribe from time to time will pass web-based consultation.
It was mentioned that principals and teachers cannot request transfer as rights and that the Code does not intend or grant any rights to be issued at the required location.
The government will notify the vacancy, i.e., the vacancy in the retirement position, the vacancy in the forced transfer category, the reallocation of vacancy, and the research was conducted during the transfer period, which had been over a year.
Mr Lokesh said extensive consultations were conducted with the teachers’ union, including allegiance to the YSR Congress party.
