Alliance Minister of Health and Family Welfare JP NADDA announced that the Inter-aiims recommendation portal, developed locally by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) (New Delhi), will innovate the national health care management and patient referral system.

According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the Inter-aiims recommendation portal will utilize cutting-edge technologies, including facial recognition systems and automated workflows, to ensure a seamless, safe and transparent recommendation process. It will significantly reduce waiting time, minimize manual errors, and create a patient-centric healthcare experience. “By leveraging the power of technology, we can transform the healthcare sector and improve the lives of millions,” Mr Nada said.

Starting with a pilot project, it will initially connect AIIMS New Delhi and AIIMS Bilaspur and serve as a proof of concept for wider implementation throughout the AIIMS hospital network. “This phase will serve as a key testing foundation for improving the operational program and addressing practical challenges, laying the foundation for an integrated national system,” the ministry added.

By simplifying the recommendation process, authorized medical staff will gain enhanced ability to supervise slot booking, agency agreements and communication channels to ensure patients are promptly accessed to high-quality medical services. The initiative is also designed to empower patients with access to safety systems to improve communication and provide clarity during navigation referrals.

The system will be integrated with the existing online portal to allocate Vishram Sadan at AIIMS to ensure patients not only receive medical services but also enjoy comfortable and convenient accommodation at an affordable cost while also leaving the door. Healthcare provides.
