A murder in Meerut was shocked by the entire country a few days ago when Saurabh Rajput, the wife of a businessman’s naval officer, admitted to killing him with the help of his lover Sahil Shukla and hiding his body in a blue drum filled with cement to avoid suspicion. Since then, the Blue Drum has become a conversation for the town. Meanwhile, the judicial custody of Musk and Shukla was extended Wednesday in the District Court in Merut, for another 14 days. Muskan has been planning a murder since November 2023, allegedly manipulating Sahil by impersonating the mother of the deceased through a fake Snapchat account.
