tHe protested the demand for the demolition of Oranzeb’s grave as violence triggered in the Ganespense, Mahal and Gandiuge areas of Nagpur, and on Monday (17 March 2025) afternoon, the stone and arson case was reported.
According to police, tensions escalated when protests burned the holy books of Muslim communities during the spread of the region. Videos of the Bajrang Dal demonstration spread, causing anger and controversy between the two communities.

Police resorted to lathi-charge and tear gas to disperse the crowds, and several were injured.
Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Diocese (VHP) have been displayed in various regions throughout the state, including Pune, Kolhapur, Nashik, Malegaon, Nagpur and Ahilyanagar, requesting the removal of the tomb of Aurangzeb, which is in Khuldabad, Chattrapati Sambhajinagar. Maharashtra sparked controversy in Aurangzeb after Samajwadi MP Abu Azmi praised the Mughal Emperor.
