Upgrades in Thrissur are officially committed to the public

The upgrade path across the region has been officially committed to the public, with General Education Minister V. Sivankutty completing the completed project online on Friday.

The newly remodeled roads include Chittanda-Thalassery, puthalithara-kondazhi, athani-puthuruthi, kanippayyur-iringapuram and kanakamala-chathan-chathan masters, all upgraded to asphalt Macadam, as well as the asphalt Macadam and the asphalt concrete (bm and bc and bc) standards.

Public Works Department (PWD) Minister Pa Mohamed Riyas stressed that the state has transformed into a development hub under the initiative of PWD’s high quality, time and corruption-free infrastructure. Roads within rural areas across the city’s centers reflect the government’s commitment to modern road design and quality standards. He said the state’s goal is to upgrade 50% of its roads to BM and BC levels in five years, while 60% of that goal has been achieved in just four years.

The upgrade to Chittanda-Thalassery Road is Rs 3 crore, and Putharithara-Kondazhi Road has completed a completion of Rs 3.66 crore with sidewalls, culverts, signs and reflectors. Kanippayyur – 2.8 km extension of Iringapuram Road, renovated, costs Rs 3 crore. Works include drainage, culvert restoration, signage and elevation low-lying areas.
