10x founder Sam Baisla’s support for Piyush Goyal’s recent rhetoric on India’s startup ecosystem is keenly aiming at Boat’s Aman Gupta. When Goyal urged the founders to stop copying Western ideas and “built for Bharat,” Aman supported the message, calling it a wake-up call. But Sam didn’t have it. He slammed what he called a culture of “attracting power” and questioned why entrepreneurial leaders don’t ask the government to be held accountable. Baisla warned: “This attitude will undermine the future of our next generation.”
