Utkal Divas and Vizag’s grand celebration

Visakhapatnam: Utkal Sanskrutika Samaj celebrated Utkal Divas – Odisha State Mordation Day on Tuesday at Visakhapatnam.
Jitendra Kumar Nayak, president of SAMAJ of OSL Group, initiated the celebration at the opening ceremony of Odia Food Festival and Handloom Bazaar.
Visitors have a wealth of traditional Odia delicacies including Manda Pitha, Kakara, Chhena Poda, Dahi Bara, Ghuguni and Malpua. The traditional handloom products are displayed at the market, showing the rich textile heritage of Odisha.
The formal plan is to pay tribute to the architects of Odisha – Utkal Gourab Madhusudan Das, Utkalmani Gopabandhu Das and Krushna Chandra Gajapati Maharaj, who brought the movement to a separate state.
SAMAJ unveiled the literary magazine of the year “Arunima”, edited by playwright RP Sahu. A cultural show was then fascinated by the Nrutya Priya Dance Academy, sponsored by the Odisha government.
Those participating in the program include Rajendra Kumar of Andhra & Odisha Income Tax Chief Tax (Central), and Manoj Kumar Sahoo, railway manager in other divisions of the Waltair division.
