Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dham Dham clarifies Char Dham Yatra in India – Pakistan tensions are going smoothly

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami recently clarified that helicopter service had no such disturbance, stressing that the pilgrimage was going smoothly in the state.
Amid rising tensions in India-Pakistan, a report proposed shows that Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority (UCADA) has suspended Char Dham Yatra helicopter service and will take effect immediately. However, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami recently clarified that helicopter service had no such disturbance, stressing that the pilgrimage was going smoothly in the state.
“Dear devotee, Chardham Yatra is doing smoothly in the state. More than 400,000 devotees visited the dhams. Shri Kedarnath Dham’s helicopter service is also fully operational. You also ask you not to follow any rumors. A tweet on Saturday debunked the rumors.

In view of India-Pakistan tensions, CM Dhami chaired a meeting on the current situation. The government’s security measures in the entire state have been strengthened due to India-Pakistan tensions, especially during the ongoing Char Dham Yatra. In response to security issues in India’s military operations against Pakistan’s terrorist camps and POKs, CM Dhami directed officials to strengthen security protocols for Yatra, critical infrastructure and border areas.

Uttarakhand DGP Abhinav Kumar confirmed that temporary police stations were established in each of the four DHAMSs (Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri) to ensure the safety of the pilgrims. “For Yatra, we have deployed troops specifically in all Char Dhams. A temporary police station was established at the Shree Badrinath Temple, as well as the Kedarnath Temple, Gangotri and Yamunotri,” he added. “In addition, we also said, “We are also installing CCTV Cameras to monitor all the actions of the CCTV Cameras.”
