After smashing a flashing century against the Gujarat Titans (GT), Rajasthan Royals (RR) opener Vaibhav Suryavanshi, 14, expressed his happiness after knocking on the door, calling the achievement like a “dream” and that there was no fear in his batting.

Suryavanshi, who is only 14 years and 32 days old, registered his name in the cricket history books, is the youngest centurion in T20 cricket and the fastest Indian centurion in IPL history, ridiculing 210 chases with his batting partner Yashasvi Jaiswal.

“It feels really good. It’s the first century of the third inning in the first century in the IPL. The result I’ve been practicing for the last three or four months and the result is manifested. I can’t see the ground, just focus on the ball. No fear. I don’t have much thought about the players. I’m just focusing on playing, I’m just focusing on the ball.”

Suryavanshi also talked about batting with Jaiswal, saying: “Bashing with Jaiswal is good, he told me what to do, and he injected positive things.”

When Vaibhav knocked out Ishant Sharma, including 28 and 3 sixes, the all-round Karim Janat was also removed, a name on the T20 Tour, where 30 rans, including 30 shots, including three two-quarters and one-six.

In the 210 runs, fans were hit by a mentally clean shot by Vaibhav, who scored 101 in just 38 balls, had seven fours and 11 sixes. His running rate is 265.79.

Vaibhav reached his century in 35 balls, the second (second century) in IPL history, below Chris Gayle’s 30-ball tonnage, opposing the now-defunct Pune Warriors India for Pune Warriors India for Royal Challenge bengaluru (RCB) returned in 2013. Vaibhav is also now the fastest Indian in IPL.

The lefty is the youngest player to score in T20 cricket history at the age of 14 and 32 days, surpassing Vijay Zol, who scored for Maharashtra in 2013 in a century against Mumbai in Maharashtra. Only 27 balls.

Suryavanshi also reached his fifty goals in just 17 goals, the fifth best in league history, making him the youngest in IPL fifties.

Additionally, the 166-point stance between Vaibhav and Yashasvi Jaiswal is the highest wicket partnership for any of Rajasthan Royals, surpassing Jos Buttler & Devdutt Padikkal’s 155 in Wankhede’s DC in 2022.

Vaibhav slammed Shardul Thakur with his first ball against Shardul Thakur, who averaged 75.50 games and a strike rate of 222.05 in three games, with a score of 101*.

One of the biggest surprises during last year’s IPL’s massive auction was Suryavanshi becoming a 110 crore rupees royal. Vaibhav was born in Bihar on March 27, 2011 and is the youngest player on the roster. He made his debut in Bihar in January 2024, in just 12 years and 284 days. Last year, he was part of India’s U19 match against Australia in Chennai, where he smashed a 58-century.

He also made his debut for Bihar in the SMAT 2024 Championship, despite his poor score in his only outing. He is also the seventh highest runner in the ACC in 1924-25 years. In the game, he scored 176 runs in 5 games, with a maximum score of 76*.

After participating in the game, GT was first hit by RR and half a century, from Skipper Shubman Gill (84 out of 50 balls, 5 quarters and four sixes) and Jos Buttler (50* 50 out of 26 balls, 3 out of 3 quarters and four sixes) were the best hits for GT in 209/4 and got 209/4 distance in Maheesh theekshana (2/35) and that was 2/35).

In Run-Chase, Jaiswal (70 out of 40 balls*, 9 quarters and 2 sixes) and Vaibhav Suryanvanshi (101 out of 101 balls, 38 out of 101 balls, 7 quarters and 11 sixes) blow each other out of the water, posting a Quick Firefire 166 run stand in just 71 balls. Later, Riyan Parag (32* out of 15 balls, 2 fours and two sixes) played a quick cameo, guiding his team to win in 15.5 games.

RR ranked eighth, with three wins and seven losses, giving them six points. GT ranked third, winning 6 wins and three losses, giving them 12 points.
