Van Hollen meets Kilmarábrego García

U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen said Thursday that he met an El Salvador man who was wrongly deported to his home country by the Trump administration, a case that has aroused anger from the United States. Trump administration officials acknowledged that the deportation was a big parish misled from Maryland to El Salvador.

U.S. President Donald Trump now meets Kilmarábrego García during a meeting with Chris van Hollen and says the senator “looks like a fool who stood in El Salvador yesterday, begging for attention”.

Trump posted on Truth Social on Friday: “Yesterday, Maryland Senator Chris van Hollen looked like a fool, begging for fake news media or anyone else.

Van Hollen posted a photo of the meeting on X, saying he also called Ábrego García’s wife “to pass on his message of love.”

The lawmakers did not provide the latest news about Ábrego García’s identity, and their lawyers are working to force the Trump administration to promote his return to the United States. Despite federal judge orders, the Trump administration refused to return to the United States. It is unclear how to schedule the meeting, where they meet or what will happen to Abrego Garcia. El Salvador’s president, Nayib Bukele, posted images of the meeting before Van Hollen shared his post, saying: “Now that he has been confirmed to be healthy, he is honored to remain in custody in El Salvador.”Please read also: “These kids will…”: Robert F Kennedy Jr

Buckler teased: “Kilmarábrego García miraculously resurrected from “death camp” and “torture” and now drinks margarita with Sen van Hollen in the tropical paradise of El Salvador!” The tweet ended with an American emoji and the El Salvador flag, the emoji between them.

The meeting came hours after Van Hollen said he tried to check the well-being of Ábrego García and tried to push his release when Van Hollen said he was denied access to the high security El Salvador prison.
