The Vande Bharat train between Bengaluru and Dharwad will be extended to Bharat, and the decision has been approved by Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, Belagavi MP Jagadish Shettar said in a press release.
The train will depart from Bellagarve in the morning. He informed this in a letter to Union Minister Pralhad Joshi.
Now the train leaves Dhawad at 1.15 pm and arrives in Bangalore at 7.45 pm
The demand has been long. Several leaders including the Secretary of State of Railways V. Somanna Union Joshi, Mr. Shettar and Rajya Sabha member Iranna Kadadi. Belagavi is served by another Vande Bharat train running between Pune and Hubballi.
