Venezuelan immigration demands U.S. Supreme Court to stop Trump administration’s “imminent” deportation – Economic Times Video

A Venezuelan man was detained in Texas attorneys demanded a U.S. Supreme Court (April 18) to prevent what the lawyer said was that the man was about to be deported by the Trump administration without the judicial review previously requested by the justice. The case raises questions about the restrictions set by the Trump administration on the Supreme Court. It has the potential to have major conflicts between two equal branches of the government, and even a mature constitutional crisis. In a court application, an American Civil Liberties Union attorney said dozens of men held at Blue Ridge Detention Center in Anson, Texas were handed to Blue Ridge Detention Center in Texas, indicating they were classified as members of Tren de Aragua Gang and would be deported. Attorneys filed an application to the Supreme Court to prevent any such deportation after failing to obtain a swift application from U.S. District Judge James Hendrix in Abilene, Texas and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals on Friday.
