Hinojosa found the pass while sorting out old things in his house. At first, he thought it was useless because long ago, the banks mentioned in the pass had been closed. But what was written in lowercase letters caught his attention – the word “national guarantee”.
This means that if the bank has ever failed, the government will be responsible for repaying the money. This gives Hinojosa Hope. He approached the authorities and demanded the refund of the money. But things didn’t go smoothly.
