VHP, Bajrang Dal takes off Pakistan flag from Jntuk’s flag

Kakinada: The activists of Vishwa Hindu Diocese (VHP) and Bajrang Dal pulled out the puffs on the Jawaharlal Nehru Technology University Kakinada (JNTUK) campus and removed the Pakistan flag from the national flags of 192 countries.
Five months ago, these flags were paced under the premise of university to raise students’ awareness of countries around the world.
On Saturday night, eight people from VHP and Bajrang Dal, led by their leaders D. Venkateswara Rao and V. Surendra, arrived at the university separately and asked for the removal of various flags.
The two leaders tried to meet with the Vice-President and Register of Ginusk who had not been present at the time. They asked university authorities to remove flags placed on the houses.
Soon after, they took the Pakistan flag from various flags and took it away, bringing the slogan Bharat Matha ki Jai.
Salpavam police arrived at the scene and inquired about the matter.
JNTUK registrar Ravindranath said that the banner of different countries has been established to increase its popularity among college students in various countries around the world.
