Video footage of Secunderabad train station arrested in spy case travel video arrested

Hyderabad: Video of Haryana-based Travel Vlogger Jyoti Malhotra, arrested on Saturday for alleged surveillance at Pakistan, was filmed inside the Secunderabad station and surfaced on social media. Originally shot in 2023, the video shows Malhotra filming Vande Bharat’s express train at a station launch, who is reportedly a journalist.

Malhotra filmed YouTube channel “Travel with Jo” inside the train and station venues. The video was not censored at the time, but now she has attracted her renewed attention after she has been accused of being part of a spy ring related to Pakistan Inter-Service Intelligence (ISI).

According to investigators, she traveled to Pakistan in 2023 through a visa arranged by the committee’s agent and established close ties with a staff member of the Pakistan High Commission for New Delhi, identified as Ehsaan-ur-Rehman Alias ​​Danish.

Officials claim Malhotra shares sensitive information about key locations with ISI contacts and is part of a wider network of Haryana and Punjab and Haryana. Another defendant, including graduate student Devender Singh Dhillon, was arrested for allegedly passing confidential data to Pakistan; Malerkotla resident Yameen Mohammed, promoted visas; Armaan reportedly was responsible for on-site visits under ISI’s instructions.

The re-spreading of Secunderabad videos has led to an online reaction, especially after revealing that Malhotra participated in the 2023 Vande Bharat event as a media person. It is not clear whether she has been invited to the event.
