Vijayakant’s son Vijaya Prabhakaran serves as DMDK’s Youth Wing Secretary

VV Vijaya Prabhakaran, the son of the late Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam (DMDK), has been declared the Youth Wing Secretary of the Party. The announcement was made at the meeting of the General Council and Executive Committee of the Party held in Vellisandai, Parakod on Wednesday (30 April 2025).

Vijaya Prabhakaran lost competition in Virudhunagar constituency in last year’s Lok Sabha elections and lost Congressional candidate Manickam Tagore.

The announcement was proposed by Party leader and secretary general Premalatha Vijayakant, who also sought unified support and cooperation from the grassroots for appointments.
