Violent case on May 9 is tested on May 9

Lahore: A Pakistani counter-terrorism court allows police to conduct photography (lie detection) (face and voice analysis) tests on former Prime Minister Imran Khan imprisoned by the jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan during the violence on May 9. An official said Thursday that the test will be against Islam (Khan)’s violent protesters lawsuit on May 9, 1223. High Court House.

“ATC-I Judge Manzer Ali Gill accepted the indictment on Wednesday and allowed police to conduct lie detectors and photographic tests on Imran Khan in Adiala prison in Rawalpindi, including 12 cases of terrorism, including an attack on Lahore Corps Cormps Commander House, known as Jinnah House.”

In the violence, supporters of Khan’s Pakistani Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) allegedly destroyed more than a dozen military devices, including the Jinnah House (Lahore Corps Cormps Commander House), the ISI building in Mianwali Airbase and Faisalabad. The mob also attacked Rawalpindi’s Army Headquarters (GHQ).

Khan’s lawyer, Salman Safdar, opposed the prosecution request, questioning the police’s decision to conduct lie detectors and photography tests in the event of 727 days on May 9.

He said that in 21 terrorism cases, bail has been granted to the founder of PTI.

“The prosecution is seeking two tests against Mr Khan, with 12 of which have been documented by the Lahore High Court pronounced legally,” Safdar said.

Special Attorney Rana Aazar argued that the Supreme Court allowed such tests to meet the investigation requirements, but Khan refused to take the tests in prison without a lawyer. “Performing a voice matching test on the defendant is a legal requirement,” he said.

After hearing both sides, the judge accepted the prosecutor’s defense and allowed him to conduct a test within 12 days.

Since August 2023, Khan has been imprisoned in a variety of situations in high security Adiyala prison.

Meanwhile, PTI chairman’s lawyer Gohar Khan strongly dismissed rumors about any agreement between Khan and the government and called it “just speculation.”

Speaking to media representatives outside the parliament building on Thursday, he said he would not go to jail if the former prime minister chose to reach a deal.

Gohar added that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif extended the offer at the National Assembly meeting, which was welcomed.

“We told him (Shehbaz) that we will consult Imran Khan and the party before making any decisions,” he said.

Gohar said he forwarded Shehbaz’s proposal to Khan but declined to disclose details of the discussion or Khan’s instructions on the negotiation process.

“I can’t share the details of our conversation,” he said.
